Close of Business

How remoteEaze controls and tracks end-of-day processing.

Last updated

Close of Business (COB) is a controlled end-of-day process with explicit setup, approvals, run tracking, and post-run review.

What COB covers

COB in remoteEaze includes:

  • a tenant-level configuration
  • workflow-controlled configuration changes
  • run initiation and duplicate-run protection
  • step-by-step run tracking
  • account and product snapshot visibility

Preconditions before a run

A COB run depends on valid operational calendar context. The current setup requires an authorized working year with a current working day.

Configuration and approvals

COB configuration is treated as controlled data:

  • one active configuration per tenant
  • status-based edit restrictions
  • submit, approve, reject, and deny actions
  • amendment flow when an authorized record is changed

Run triggering and safety

Manual trigger is available from the COB area. The platform protects against accidental duplicate processing for the same business date.

If a run is created but cannot be dispatched immediately, the system preserves the run record so operations can recover safely.
