Workbench access or synchronization problems
How to diagnose Workbench access, local state, and sync problems.
Workbench does not open
Confirm the Role is marked Field Agent Role, the user/Role is active, and login restrictions permit the current session. Dashboard Access alone does not grant Workbench. Connect once to obtain a current offline authorization envelope; reconnect when it expires.
A form or selector is unavailable
Check the exact Create permission and the module's reference-data alert. Unavailable, expired, incompatible, empty, or unconfigured packages must be resolved online. Visit the module while connected and wait for preparation to finish.
A queue item failed
- Failed is retryable after connection, authentication, throttling, or service recovery. Use Retry or Retry failed.
- Rejected is not fixed by retrying unchanged data. Review field errors, permission, scope, and changed references; return to/correct the Draft where supported.
- Queued while online may indicate the engine is busy or another device tab holds the sync lock. Use Sync now after the current run finishes.
Capture the Queue ID and exact error. Do not reset protected local storage or log out until unsynchronized work has been recovered or intentionally discarded. A reset is destructive to local Drafts and queue evidence.
Fixed Deposit capture has a known current processor gap; its queue item cannot complete until the frontend processor is added.
