Full and partial liquidation

How to request, authorize, and process liquidation.

Liquidation closes all or part of an active funded Fixed Deposit before normal maturity. remoteEaze quotes the financial effect from the Contract's snapshotted Early Liquidation Policy.

Request liquidation

You need Create Fixed Deposit Liquidation. Open the active Contract and select Request Liquidation.

  1. Choose Full or Partial liquidation.
  2. For a Partial request, enter the principal amount to withdraw.
  3. Choose the interest instruction. A Full liquidation always settles unpaid interest as well as principal.
  4. Select an active, Authorized Customer Account in the Contract currency that allows credits.
  5. Enter the requested effective date and a reason of at least five characters.
  6. Save the request.

The Contract must be Active with Posted funding and cannot already have another open liquidation. remoteEaze records the applicable penalty, interest, tax, principal, and net-settlement quote with the request.

Submit and authorize

Open Operations → Fixed Deposits → Liquidations, then open the request. Update Fixed Deposit Liquidation is required to submit it. Maker-checker authorization then follows the configured L3 → L2 → L1 sequence and separation rules. The liquidation business status becomes Approved only after the record is Authorized.

Execute

With Update Fixed Deposit Liquidation, select Execute on an Authorized, Approved request. Execution rechecks that the Contract is Active and blocks conflicting unprocessed payout events. It queues an idempotent settlement transaction and changes the request to Processing.

Successful full liquidation pays the settlement, closes the deposit position, and changes the Contract to Liquidated. A partial liquidation reduces the outstanding principal and preserves the remaining Contract according to the calculated result. Review the Contract's Transactions and Liquidations & Renewals history for the final posting.
