Eligibility, pricing, and terms
How to evaluate eligibility, generate pricing, and record approved loan terms.
Eligibility, pricing, and approved terms are separate decisions in a Loan Application. remoteEaze records each result so that the final booking decision can be traced to the policy, facts, rates, and terms used at the time.
Access required
You need Read Loan Application to view the Decisioning tab.
Evaluate Eligibility, Generate Pricing, and Approve Terms require Process Workflow for Loan Applications. The application must be Authorized, the current stage must expose the corresponding workflow action, and you must have accepted an assignment for that stage.
Waiving a waivable eligibility exception additionally requires Waive Loan Application.
These controls do not appear merely because a user has the permission. The current workflow stage and its action conditions must also allow them.
Where to find the decisions
Open Loans → Loan Applications, select the application, then use:
- Actions for Evaluate Eligibility, Generate Pricing, and Approve Terms when the current stage permits them;
- Decisioning to review the latest eligibility evaluation and pricing snapshot;
- Overview to review the requested and approved terms;
- Workflow to resolve requirements created from decisioning results.
Evaluate eligibility
Select Actions → Evaluate Eligibility. remoteEaze evaluates the Authorized Eligibility Policy attached to the Loan Product, using the application's current facts and the effective values available on the evaluation date.
The latest evaluation on Decisioning shows:
- the overall Pass, Fail, Manual Review, or Waived outcome;
- the policy and evaluation date;
- each rule, its severity, measured value, threshold, and result;
- a failure message where the rule configuration provides one;
- technical rule and fact details under Technical details.
A blocking rule that fails produces an overall Fail. A manual-review rule that does not pass produces Manual Review unless another rule has already failed. Advisory rules remain informative and do not by themselves fail the evaluation.
Where a current-stage computed requirement uses the same fact key, the evaluation also captures its result on the Workflow tab. The requirement's verification mode still determines whether another user must verify it.
If the result is not Pass, correct or complete the underlying application, customer, contribution, repayment-history, or requirement data and run the evaluation again.
If every blocking result was configured as waivable, select Waive Eligibility Exceptions and record the reason. A non-waivable failed result keeps the evaluation blocked. The waiver changes that exact evaluation to Waived and records the acting user, time, and reason; it does not change the underlying rule or facts.
Contract booking uses the evaluation referenced by the application's current eligibility snapshot, not merely the newest historical row. It must be Pass or Waived when the Loan Product has an Eligibility Policy. Saving changed approved terms clears that reference, so evaluate again before booking.
Generate pricing
Select Actions → Generate Pricing. remoteEaze uses the Loan Product's Authorized Pricing Policy and eligible Source of Funds rules for the current loan amount and currency.
When the Pricing Policy uses manual Source of Funds selection, remoteEaze opens Select Source of Funds. Choose an active, Authorized funding rule configured for the Loan Product, amount, and currency, then select Generate Quote.
The latest pricing snapshot on Decisioning shows the:
- as-of date and Pricing Policy;
- selected Source of Funds, where one applies;
- benchmark rate and funding cost;
- operating margin and risk premium;
- policy adjustment;
- final customer rate after configured floors, caps, and rounding.
The snapshot is evidence of the quote used by the application; later rate or policy changes do not rewrite it. Generate a new quote when the financial facts or approved amount change.
If the Loan Product has a Pricing Policy, booking requires a persisted pricing snapshot for the approved amount. A quote based on a different amount is rejected at booking.
Approve the final terms
Use Actions → Approve Terms only at a stage configured with Approve Loan Terms.
- Enter the Approved Amount. It must be greater than zero and cannot exceed the requested amount.
- Select the Approved Start Date, if it differs from the requested date.
- Enter the approved Tenure as the number of repayment periods.
- Select the Repayment Frequency.
- Select the Disbursement Account and Repayment Account when required by the Loan Product or needed operationally.
- Add a Reason where the approved terms differ from the request.
- Select Save Approved Terms.
Selected Accounts must belong to the borrowing Customer, or the borrowing Group for a Group loan, use the application currency, be not deleted and Authorized, and be within the user's data-access scope.
Saving approved terms records a terms-history entry, changes an open application back to In Review, and invalidates the application's current eligibility and pricing references. remoteEaze attempts to regenerate pricing automatically when the Loan Product has a Pricing Policy. If that attempt cannot complete, use Generate Pricing after resolving the missing rate, policy, or Source of Funds input.
Run eligibility again after approved terms change. The resulting terms, eligibility, and pricing must be ready before the application reaches its booking stage.
Continue with Collateral and guarantees or Authorize and book a loan, depending on the configured workflow.
