Notifications and inbox
How to work with notifications and tenant notification configuration.
Notifications combine a personal Inbox with permission-gated delivery Configuration and a special Publish action.
Use the Inbox
In Dashboard, select the bell to review recent messages or open View all for Notifications → Inbox. Mark one or all as read, dismiss a message, or use its primary action to open the related record. Live delivery uses the active session; the Inbox remains the authoritative history.
A Workbench-only Agent can use the bell in the Workbench header while online. View all opens a Workbench Inbox overlay rather than a Dashboard route. Actions that point only to Dashboard are not offered there. While offline, the bell remains visible but selecting it asks the user to connect.
Configure delivery
With Create/Read/Update/Delete Tenant Notification Configuration, open Notifications → Configuration. A Configuration selects the notification category, enabled channels, priority, and recipients by Branch, Department, Role, or specific users. Save or submit it through maker-checker; changes to an Authorized record use Amendments where required.
Publish a broadcast
Publish Tenant Notification is separate from configuration maintenance. Select Publish Notification, choose a Company in system scope, then target all tenant users, a Branch, Role, specific user, all active sessions, or active sessions at a Branch. Enter the title and body, review the resolved audience, and publish.
Publishing is an immediate communication action, not maker-checker approval of a Configuration. Confirm the audience carefully before sending.
