Open accounts in Workbench
How to capture account-opening requests offline.
Workbench Account opening captures the same Account Draft accepted by the online ledger service and submits it through maker-checker after sync.
Access and preparation
You need Create Account, applicable Customer/Branch scope, a valid offline authorization snapshot, and prepared Account reference data.
Capture the Account
- Open Accounts and select New Account.
- Under Core Setup, select the Customer owner, Customer-facing Product, currency, Branch, and Account Status.
- Complete Classification, including the relation officer or Agent where applicable.
- Select the Account Condition that governs limits, interest, fees, and taxes.
- Complete optional contact and start/end date information.
- Select Submit.
Reference selectors use the locally prepared Authorized configuration. Drafts
save locally while edited. Submission queues an idempotent account.create
action. When connected, the server rechecks permissions, scope, Customer,
Product, Branch, currency, Account Status, Account Condition, and validation.
A retryable transport/server failure can be retried from Home. A validation or permission rejection must be reviewed and corrected as a Draft before it is submitted again.
