Capture transactions in Workbench

How to capture deferred transaction intents offline.

Workbench captures a Transaction intent using a prepared financial package. The server turns that intent into a normal Transaction only after sync-time revalidation.

Access and preparation

You need Create Transaction, access to the booking Branch, and a current Transaction reference package. Override FX Rate is still required for a Manual, Central Bank, or Third-Party rate.

Capture the Transaction

  1. Open Transactions and select New Transaction.
  2. Confirm the locally prepared posting date and choose an allowed value date.
  3. Select the header booking Branch, narrative, and supported intent.
  4. Add batches. Select one Transaction Code and optional Cost Centre per batch, then add its Debit and Credit lines. A new batch uses the prepared user's Cost Centre as its default when one is available.
  5. Select Accounts, currencies, and positive amounts. Confirm that each batch balances in base currency.
  6. Review the offline commission preview and record Apply or Waive decisions for every applicable charge.
  7. Select Save to drafts or Submit.

Offline balances, FX, and commission results are previews from the prepared package. At sync, remoteEaze rechecks the working date, Account and Facility capacity, codes, FX and fee freshness, permission, Branch scope, conditional access policies, balancing, and idempotency. A successful intent creates and submits the normal Transaction; it does not post outside the configured authorization path.

The server stores the resolved Cost Centre Code and Name on the posting lines. Changing the user's organization assignment after capture does not rewrite a successfully synchronized posting.
