Onboard customers in Workbench

How to capture customer applications offline.

Workbench creates a Customer Application, not a live Customer record. The Application follows the normal Dashboard workflow after synchronization.

Access and preparation

You need Create Customer Application, a valid offline authorization snapshot, and prepared Customer reference data. The capture package is defined by an Authorized Customer Type and Onboarding Policy.

Capture the Application

  1. Open Customers and select New Customer.
  2. Choose the Customer Type and Onboarding Policy capture package.
  3. Complete Application details, including Branch, relationship officer, Agent, and the policy-defined Customer facts.
  4. Complete related-party, relationship, or Group-member sections when the chosen package requires them.
  5. If the workflow makes its account post-action available, use the Account tab to request an Account Product, currency, optional Account Condition, and optional name.
  6. Review the validation summary and select Submit.

Workbench continuously saves meaningful changes as a local Draft. Submit moves the validated payload into the queue; it does not bypass duplicate checks, data scope, permissions, or server workflow validation.

After successful sync, open the resulting Application in Dashboard to assign, review, authorize, and create the Customer. A non-retryable rejection can be returned to its retained local Draft, corrected against the current capture package, and submitted again.
