System data
How to use shared lookups and maintain tenant-controlled titles, genders, and marital statuses.
Open Foundation → System Data. The section distinguishes global reference data supplied by remoteEaze from reference values maintained by each tenant.
Global reference data
The following tabs are visible to all users who can reach System Data:
- Nations;
- Languages;
- Sectors;
- Industries.
These are shared, read-only catalogs in the current interface. They supply standard country, language, and industry classifications to forms throughout the product; they are not edited per tenant from this section.
On Nations and Languages, Upload External IDs CSV maps shared values to identifiers used by an authorized third-party system. Select the target third-party system and, at L0, the target Company before uploading the mapping. This does not replace or rename the shared nation or language itself.
Tenant-managed reference values
The permission-controlled tabs are:
- Titles;
- Genders;
- Marital Status.
Each value has a Code and Description. The code is its stable internal identifier and cannot be changed after creation; the description is the label shown to users.
The relevant entity permission controls each tab and action. For example, Read Title shows Titles, Create Title permits a new value, Update Title permits edits, and Delete Title permits deletion or restoration. The same pattern applies to Gender and Marital Status. Export requires the entity's Export permission, while import requires Create.
Create or change a value
- Open Titles, Genders, or Marital Status.
- Select the corresponding create action, such as Create Title.
- Enter a unique code and its description, then create the value.
- Open an existing row to change its description, delete it, or restore it when the available action and record state permit.
These reference values do not use maker-checker. A permitted create, update, delete, restore, or import takes effect immediately. Default values are seeded when a license is created, so review them before adding duplicates.
Currencies are not maintained in this System Data section. Company currencies belong to Currencies.
